Team TMG is Awarded Omnibus III Task Order

GME SIMULATION SCENARIOS FOR NAVY MEDICINE TRAINING SITES
ROCKVILLE, MD – October 3, 2012 – The McConnell Group (TMG), along with subcontractor ICF International, has been awarded a Task Order, GME Simulation Scenarios for Navy Medicine Training Sites, under the Omnibus III ID/IQ contract.
The Navy Medicine Education Training Command (NMETC) and Navy Medicine Training sites are in need of medical simulation technicians to develop training simulation scenarios and diagnose and utilize pertinent software and simulation equipment in support of the Navy and Marine Corps’ Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. The GME programs include medical education and training for students and interns, as well as continuing education for medical staff.
TMG teamed with ICF International on this effort. ICF International is a global professional services firm that specializes in the work of this task order, and most would refer to them as the leaders in this type of work. To support the achievement of the ultimate end-goal, TMG and ICF International (Team TMG) will provide medical personnel that are proficient in working together as a team to deliver medical care and interventions in garrison as well as on the battlefield. Based on the team’s research and experience designing, deploying, and managing almost two dozen effective medical simulation centers delivering thousands of trained and capable medical personnel, Team TMG understands that the medical simulation technician is key to achieving this outcome.
